Tamarack Homes and Tartan Homes are the two builders who are developing the residential areas of the community.
The community has grown by leaps and bounds since Tartan and Tamarack started building houses in the area in the early 2000s. All homes built in Findlay Creek are Energy Star qualified.
As of Summer 2011, the community includes approximately 1,400 residences in the form of townhomes, semi- and single-detached and Java condos.

The community is currently expanding towards Albion Road and northeast to Bank Street. As of early 2011, build-out to Albion Road should take four years.
Claridge Homes will be building 108 singles, 122 towns and 72 stacked towns across Bank Street. Construction is scheduled to start in Fall 2011.
